ABOUT THE CIRCLE

Anyone you know who would be interested in coming is welcome.

Ojibwe circle is a gathering of people learning the red path way.  We are taught by an elder who lives in Michigan.  The circle begins with traditional ceremony of smudging, and opening of the circle to the directions.  People attending offer their prayers and daily concerns in the traditional Ojibwe manner.

The circle offers teachings of traditional Native American and First Nation people.  The information includes various publications, books and current event information, sharing of information given by our Ojibwe and other tribal elders, language study {Ojibwe mowin} and discussion among the people attending.

The circle is then closed releasing the directions.

It is requested that women wear ankle length dresses and men wear long trousers in respect of native tradition.

Any questions call Jim at 603-261-7228 or email: noodin@northeastcultural.com .

Directions to location: Boston Post Road out of Amherst toward Mt. Vernon one mile past Wilkins Elementary School.

Gigawabamin iiwidii, [we will see you there]

Jim Beard
