Introductory traditional teachings to the youth program of the Mashantucket Pequot Nation

Includes the introduction of talking circles and sweat lodge, traditional spirit medicines, legends of the people and teachings on living in unity.  The programs will incorporate as much Mashantucket Pequot teachings as can be found available and Algonquin teachings will be introduced to fill places where information is lacking.  The purpose being to provide an understanding that relates to the Mashantucket Pequot people with continuity and unity of understanding among Algonquin speaking people.

This program will be open to all Mashantucket Pequot youth as well as youth of the area.

Further scheduling of activities will be posted as information becomes available.
