Programs arranged by Northeast American Cultural Resource require the expertise of Aboriginal Elders from other places to provide the information needed.  Several Elders from Michigan, Wisconsin and Ontario Canada periodically travel in order to make presentations.  These Elders are most generally from the Ojibwa Nation located around the Great Lakes Region of North America.  The Ojibwa Nation is part of the Algonquin language group that is native to the Northeast and they migrated to the west over the past several hundred years.  Other presenters are from various tribes and cultures.

About our presenters:     First, not all of our presenters are listed on the site.  Some prefer to be called when there is a need for them without promotion.   Others will be posted when they provide certain information.   As we continue to develop more events we call on various people in the aboriginal community to address the requests that are made.  If they provide us with the information to post then we will put that information on our presenter page.  To be posted they must provide us with a picture, some biographical information and indicate their availability.  Each presenter is compensated directly by the  group utilizing their services.   Compensation is provided in a way that is acceptable within the presenters own traditional following.  Northeast American Cultural Resource does not receive funds or payment for any service provided from the public or from the presenter.

It is not a requirement that a presenter be Indigenous  Native American.  Northeast American Cultural Resource honors people of all aboriginal descent and there is need to present teachings of many cultures and people.  The message is that we are all related and need to respect and understand one another.     Ahoe!
